A Ray of Hope is a fulfillment of God’s instructions from scriptures to intercede for others in prayer. (Jeremiah 29:7 & 1 Timothy 2:1, to list a few)

How We Operate

To safeguard the confidentiality of prayer requests we do not hold group prayer gatherings, and prayer team members do not know who is on the team. Only the facilitator has that information. Each request that is submitted or shared with the facilitator is sent out personally via email to each prayer member. Then it is through the team members individual partnership with the Holy Spirit in faith that we intercede on behalf of the requests.

Prayer of Salvation

The prayer of Salvation is important; committing to Jesus Christ builds a relationship with God.

1) Admit: Romans 3:23 NLT “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” 
(Acknowledging that you have sinned and fallen short of God’s will for you.)

2) Believe: John 3:16-17 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who BELIEVES in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
                   Acts 16:31a NLT “They replied, ‘BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved,’”

3) Confess: Romans 10:9-10 NLT “If you openly declare (confess) that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” 

Prayer Example: God, I admit that I am a sinner. I have fallen short of your glorious plan for me because of my sinful life. I believe that you sent your Son, Jesus, into the world to save us from the penalty of sin, which is death. I believe that he endured the cross, shedding his blood for my sins, and defeated the grave by rising from the dead. I openly confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead, so that I would be saved. I surrender my life to you God, and seek Your Son, Jesus, to be Lord over my life, and for the Holy Spirit to guide me as I let go and let your Will be what I follow each day. Guide me to other followers of Jesus Christ that can walk with me helping me grow in faith and hold me accountable. It is in your Son, Jesus, name I pray. AMEN
